Bookfair

Thanks to the help of parents, pupils and teachers alike, we run a book fair at the start of every school year. It is an event which the pupils look forward to every year! As well as giving the pupils an opportunity to buy some lovely reading material it also benefits the school as 50% of the profits return to the school in the form of books.

To coincide with the book fair and to encourage the children to read we also invite an author to come visit the school. We have had such authors as Eddie Lenihan, Gabriel Fitzmaurice, Tom McCaughren and Cora Harrison. Whether it be poetry or story-telling it is always a most memorable event in the school calendar!
