'The Attenborough Experience'

Local nature specialist, Geoffrey Hunt (aka David Attenborough) explored Wetland flora and fauna on the banks of the Shannon River near our school, as part of the Heritage in Schools Scheme.

The children enjoyed tracking frogs, fish and birds as well as taking many samples of the local flora. A whole new world, on their doorstep, was opened up to them.
